Urgent News Article We are saddened to report to you the death of Valiere Delice, founder and director of the Orphanage Foyer d' ORELPH, in Croix Des Bouquets, Haiti. Val was instrumental in all aspects of the orphanage's founding and operation. He will continue to be an inspiration to his family, to those with whom he worked, and those to whom he gave his time and support when they were most in need. There is not a day that will pass that his lively presence and generosity of spirit will not be missed.
Do Your Part has worked closely with Val and the orphanage since March of 2010, assisting them in securing needed food, medical care, and school supplies. Without Val's unrelenting commitment and hard work, we sincerely believe that the progress we've witnessed over the past two years would not have been possible. It has been a true privilege to have shared the friendship and love he gave so effortlessly. We grieve for his beautiful family and all the children he cared for with selfless passion.
In honor of Val's memory, and to carry his good works and dedication forward, it is our hope that you will empower Do Your Part's continuing efforts to support these children through contributions made on their behalf. These contributions will go toward assisting the children, gathering information needed to meet their most immediate needs and addressing the challenges the orphanage is now faced with as the result of losing its beloved director and protector. We know that Valiere would find great comfort in knowing that so many people care about the wellbeing of his dear family and the abandoned children he loved and nurtured. We are working closely with trusted partner organizations to keep his dream for these children alive.
